Veneer plywood is a specific type of construction grade lumber that is made up entirely of laminated wood veneers or thin slices of wood with the grain running in alternating directions to make it stronger. It’s used for a variety of applications, including furniture, cabinets, staircases and flooring panels, aircraft interiors, boats, and more.

Plywood is made by glueing several layers of wood sheets together using strong, water-resistant adhesive. The grains of adjacent layers are kept at right angles to one another, or “cross-graining,” which makes the finished product stronger and more durable. It’s also lighter and less prone to sag.

There are two basic types of veneer plywood: Veneer Core and Wood-on-Wood (also called a 2-ply or double veneer). This type of veneer plywood is made up of layers of veneer that are permanently bonded together. The outer layer is usually a finer quality than the inner layer and can be stained or painted to add a unique look to your project.

Film Faced Plywood

Film faced plywood is a kind of structural plywood that has a film coating on both sides. It is made by bonding multiple layers of wood veneer together with a strong adhesive, then coating both faces with a film made of high-density phenolic resin or melamine paper. This film offers excellent resistance to water, chemicals, corrosion, and wear and tear.

One of the most popular film faced plywood choices is birch, which is easy to clean and is a great choice for children’s furniture. It is also a good choice for outdoor playground equipment. Another option is poplar, which is an extremely durable and tough material that is easy to cut and clean. It is also light enough to be able to carry in a vehicle.

The film faced plywood is available in a variety of thicknesses and widths, so you will be able to find a solution that fits your needs. It is ideal for use in both indoor and outdoor construction projects, and it is durable enough to withstand a wide range of temperatures.

MDF

MDF board is a popular building and DIY sheet material that can be used in many applications, from cabinets to furniture. It is made from pulverized wood fibers blended with resins and pressed into sheets under temperature and pressure.

MDF is a versatile, economical alternative to solid wood for a wide range of projects. It is also a lot easier to cut and shape than solid wood, opening up possibilities for more elaborate designs that might not be possible with real wood.

It can be finished with a veneer or laminate to make it look like real wood. It is a popular choice for furniture and cabinetry because it offers the look and feel of wood but doesn’t have any knots or other imperfections. It’s also a very good base for painting and staining, as long as it is properly sealed on all sides and edges.

It’s easy to work with: Compared to plywood, MDF is much easier to handle because it’s heavier and less dense. It is also very strong, making it the ideal material for cabinetry and furniture projects that won’t be exposed to moisture.

Industry Focused Products!

Birch plywood is a lighter-weight, durable material that is perfect for making shelves and other types of furniture. When choosing birch plywood, it is important to understand the differences between the various grades. The highest grade, B/BB is a full piece of veneer with no knots, streaks or patches.

Melamine MDF can be imitation of a variety of patterns with bright color, hardness, wear resistance and good heat resistance. It is often used in interior architecture and decoration of various furniture and cabinets, such as panels, walls, cabinets etc.

Black Film faced Plywood

The surface of the black film faced plywood is impregnated with water-resistant acid phenol resin, and the plywood is formed by hot pressing at high temperature. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, can be reused.

Marine plywood

Marine plywood is defined as conforming to BS1088 international standard production, environmental protection up to E0/E1 class, boiling water for 72 hours without opening glue, generally used for yachts, cars, ships and outdoor buildings.
